We helped Lime in their market entry efforts on the Bulgarian market.
Since Lime first launched globally in June 2017, the company is reimagining the urban landscape with multimodal fleet of electric scooters and bikes. Globally, the company is bringing smart mobility to people across five continents, with operations in over 120 cities. The users have taken over 100 million rides so far.
One of the e-scooters launches in Lime’s pipeline for 2019 happened to be Sofia, Bulgaria. The company aimed at being the first shared micro mobility provider on the market, so we made sure to support it in making this launch a very successful and unforgettable one.

We prepared a proactive communications strategy, which consisted of several steps: preparation and distribution of a press release and an infographic dedicated to safety riding of e-scooters; coordination of a photo shoot of Lime’s fleet and representatives; coordination of a joint media briefing with the Mayor of Sofia to introduce the new service and to present 200 designated parking spots for 2 wheeled vehicles in the center of the city; pitching interviews in key media with Lime’s Operations Manager and preparation of a media mailing – 20 boxes with helmets and promo codes for local journalists.

We coordinated 5 interviews with Lime’s Operations Manager in TV, radio, print and online media. Nearly 40 media representatives were present during the joint briefing with the Mayor of Sofia which resulted in generating more than 2m+ impressions thanks to 100 media publications – 48 of which dedicated to Lime’s launch only and 52 about the new service and the parking spots without brand mentioning. As a resullt of the campaign Lime achiеved its main goal to be the first operator to launch in Sofia and we generated buzz around the brand and its business by a mixture of communication approaches.
